The Company - Ponting Brothers Pty Ltd is a private company, and is owned by Walter Ponting and Family.

Directors of the company are Walter Ponting, Pam Madner, Sandra Miller and John Ponting. The Operations/Hardware Manager is Pat Lane, The Timber Manager is Tim Roberston, Relax & Entertain Manager is Raelene Ponting and Administration Manager is Michael Miller.

Main Activities, Location & Facilities - Pontings Timber & Hardware has operated on its current site, 112 Kepler St since its beginning in 1923. Pontings started in a small shop on this site and over the years developed to its current size.

Pontings is located on the corner of Kepler and Lava Streets, one block west of the main street. This prime location is seen as one of the main assets of the company.

Our main activities are Timber, Hardware, Giftware/Outdoor Entertainment. Timber products include Pine, Kiln Dried Hardwood, Green Hardwood, Laminex, Cement and Concrete Products, Iron and Fibreglass, Doors, Glass, Timber Mouldings, Fibre Cement Products, Garages and Garden Sheds, Trusses and Wall Frames, Windows, etc.

Hardware areas are Homewares, Builders Hardware, Hand and Power Tools, Electrical, Plumbing, Paint, Outdoor Living, Automotive, Garden and Lawn, Building Supplies and Power Tool Repairs and Hire, etc.

Giftware and Outdoor include a wide range of contempary gift ideas, Aromatics & Candles, Baby Products, Baskets, Boxes & Caneware, Candleholders, Xmas Items, Clocks, Clothing, cushions, Throws, Floral Pieces, Vases and Wall Art, Indoor and Outdoor Furniture for all occasions.
